What I want to share with you a little bit about is, since this is a women in business group, is my journey to entrepreneurship, which is very interesting because I was just thinking in college, was there even a women in business program? I had never heard of that. I was a psychology major, and I have no

business training, actually. And so it's interesting to be here with women who are excited

about exploring entrepreneurship or being in business. So I'll tell you a little bit about my journey and then also talk a little bit about

how being in business and opening a business is very similar to a yoga class.

So my journey began in 1999, so I can't believe it's been eight years now. And I was living at 16th in You and I was reading the book The Artist's Way.

Are you all familiar with that book by Julia Cameron?

It's a really, really good book.

It's basically a 12-step program to unleashing your creativity.

And I was working as a paralegal at that time, trademark paralegal, somewhat creative, but not

feeling overly creative in my work, and contemplating how much longer I had to wait until retirement.

And when you're in your early to mid-20s thinking that way, it's like a death sentence.
