I forget who called in and talked about the game last night with Green Bay and

Philly and said something to the effect of, you know, after watching last night, it's pretty

obvious.

That's not what we are.

Yeah.

Well, it's not what we are from a coordinator standpoint.

Clearly, Jeff Halfley,

outstanding job with Green Bay was a head coach of Boston College where their defense was good.

And obviously one of the best, if not the best coordinators defensively of this generation,

Vic Fangio. But really, you know, in addition to the two of them, it's extraordinary talent on defense that both

of those teams have. I mean, Green Bay and Philadelphia are awesome, talent-wise, on defense,

something that Washington is far from, clearly. Look, you know, it is, again, I want to emphasize, I understand what the injuries have meant to this team overall.

I'll net it out because that's what we do in this business.

It's a two-game difference.

They'd be five and five.

They'd be in contention here.

The defense, had it been healthy,

I still don't think would have been a good defense. I think it would have been improved as far as a run defense goes from last year. And I thought we saw signs of that early on with Wise and Kinlaugh

and Armstrong being on the field, you know, everybody healthy. So I think that may have been the

case. It would have been a better run-stopping defense, but I'm not convinced that it would have

been the kind of difference that we were talking about in the offseason, which it was the number
