A few other defensive numbers.

The, per like things like EPA expected points added, they're the third worst in the league

in per play EPA.

They're still just barely, barely behind Dallas and Cincinnati.

They've had a, you know, Washington had a couple of those

games early that we talked about in the moment, the giant game, the Raider game, even the Charger

game, where it was potentially misleading because of the offensive line issues that those teams

had. And Washington hadn't yet, you know, at least in those first two, suffered all of the

injuries that they've had on defense. So they're still like the third worst defense, you know,

through now 10 games in the league behind Dallas and Cincinnati. They've closed the gap on

Dallas. They're pretty close to being the second worst in expected points added per play.

And in total EPA, they're also third, but again, really close to passing Dallas to become

the second worst defense in the NFL behind Cincinnati. Cincinnati's having an historically

awful season defensively. Washington, though, is gaining steam for sure.

In the last four games, Washington's allowed the second-most yards per play. They lead the league in opponent passing yards per attempt at 8.4 yards per pass attempt in the last four games and they're

giving up the fourth most points per game as well. All right, just a couple of other observations

and then we'll get to your phone calls. So something happened twice during the game that some of you have reached out to me about earlier

in the year. I know we talked about this last year because it happened last year too. I think

Sabah actually reached out to me about this. But Detroit intentionally on two different occasions

kicked the ball out of bounce.

And people are like, oh, you get the ball at the 40.

No, that's not the rule.
