they're at an impasse with some detail like, you know, some news, I think it was

news, that John had one league source saying that he could see the commanders eventually agreeing

to pay $28 million per year. John makes it very clear that Terry's side wants a deal similar to the D.K. Metcalf deal.

But that deal is different.

You know, he was traded to Pittsburgh.

He wasn't going to, you know, report unless he had a new deal.

So Pittsburgh had to give him a new deal.

And D.K. Metcalf is two years younger.

And there are a lot of people around the league that would say D.K. Metcalf is two years younger, and there are a lot of people around the league

that would say D.K. Metcalf is the better player.

So the team doesn't see Terry as $33 million per year for a number of reasons.
