Another week down, gosh, and now it's happy hour. What is going on, ladies? It's been a week.

We've had the weather, like the weather won't let up.

And normally you don't, you know, people say like weather's such a boring topic.

But it's really top of mind for a lot of people in North Carolina, now in Florida, all over.

And so hope our besties are staying safe or have gotten other places to be safe.

And so, yeah. Oh, gosh, it is hurricane season here in the U.S. for those that are listening that

are not in the U.S. and do not have hurricanes and all of that. But we wish everyone the best.

That's an important thing, Ashley. Thank you. Because, boy, it's been a busy storm season. And especially as we get older, that's like all I find myself talking about is the freaking weather.

I know. It's good. When it's bad, it doesn't matter.

Well, I feel like a constant of my childhood was like the weather people, like the weather women, the weathermen, like I think about those people and the information they got and they're always there. Three in the morning, they'll show back up, go home, take a nap or just sleep on the, they are like the stalwarts. And so as I get older, I realize I'm getting older because my weather, my news weather people are getting older. And that's, it's a little hard to see.

Like if I see the people in Louisville that I haven't seen in a while and I'm like,

oh no, wait, how are you older?

Because I'm not.

I'm still 12.

I'm still 23.

God, that is so true.

That's a sad note.

Did you all see, speaking of the bullshit or the business aspect of this happy hour, so there's a woman named Heather Johnson, who she made a video that's kind of kind of big on TikTok about how she was in North Carolina. As she reached out to her boss, she just started a nonprofit and reached out to her boss was like, hope your family's okay, this, you know, nice to her boss. Her boss is like,

yeah, yeah, you too. But in her response, her boss is like, you know, I'm going to go ahead because of the destruction, I'm going to take over your job. So today's your last day. And I'll give you two weeks severance if you return all of her company property within two weeks. And reiterates, I'm really going to need that back. And she was affected by the flooding? Yeah, it's like they're in Nashville.
