Delivery driver won $50 million in a lawsuit

for being seriously burned when a drink spilled in his lap

at a California drive-thru.

Los Angeles County Journey found that Michael Garcia,

who underwent skin grafts and other procedures on his gen generals after a vinty-sized drink of tea spilled in his groin, he suffered permanent and life-changing disfigurement.

According to his attorneys, Garcia's negligence lawsuit, blaming his injuries on the establishment, saying an employee did not wedge the

scalding hot tea lid strongly enough for a takeout tray. The jury verdict is a critical step

in holding them accountable for the flagrant disregard for customer safety. But apparently this guy was burned pretty bad.
