Andrew Hee. I grew up listening to Coast Coast AM, which I lovingly

describe is the BBC for people who think they've been abducted by aliens.

I don't believe very much of it.

I don't buy into very much of it, but I've always really enjoyed it.

I find it creatively stimulating, but I'll tell you the other thing that I have increasingly come to believe over several years, and that is real change, things that alter the paradigm, things that don't just

nudge society or optimize society, but things that change society. Those ideas don't come from the

mainstream. They don't come from the middle. They come from the edge, they come from the weirdos and the outsiders.

And I think you can kind of plot this back to high school.

When I went to high school, and for the record, we got along at my high school I was friends with everybody I was the captain of the debate team

But I was pretty good friends with Tyler who was the head of the football team. He was a good guy

But I look back on that and I think when you look at the tables that the

quarterback's and the cheerleaders were sitting at, they were going to grow up to

you know take on leadership roles and run systems and be in charge of things,

but I don't think that they were going to be the people that came up with the ideas that was going

to change things.

That was going to come from the weirdos. The idea that the really innovative novel

ideas that were going to alter the game itself. Those were going to come from the

guys sitting by themselves,

or the people playing D&D over in the corner.
