And this is a little bit of a pre-intro down here with Michael, the third chair not occupied

at the minute.

As you'll know from the episode title, who is going to be in that chair very, very shortly.

We are recording this a couple of weeks after we spoke to Howard Wilkinson.

Yeah, we're all out of Aldery, right? It's slightly confusing.

Yeah, but what an experience. What a wonderful, wonderful experience.

Howard Wilkinson, for God's sake. I know.

That's all that really crossed with mind when I first saw him. I was like, well, yeah, that's Howard Wilkinson. Yeah, the best leads manager of my lifetime.

It's a bit strange in a way that, because Howard Wilkinson, I checked,

was the exact age I am now when Leeds got promoted.

And what have you done with your life? In 1990.

So it's strange, kind of, strange chatting to you.

I've ended up just, sorry, sorry, Howard. sorry Howard, but I kind of, I kind of see him as that same person. You know, he's still the

manager from the early 1990s. But actually what we found him from speaking to me, he's just like

a kindly gentleman. It was a little bit like speaking to your uncle or your granddad, wasn't it?

Just a really friendly, really considered deep thinking bloke, which I think obviously was always

there because he's not a

different person, but just from chatting to him, you very much got a sense of the depth and how
