I was a right up way back one.

So this is a full circle moment. I'm excited to have you here. I'm glad to be here. And look at this. I know, right? You didn't even know. So I wrote for EGL. We are connected in that way. I'm still very much connected. You had so many great people that were a part of the magazine, the team, the staff. I'm still very much connected to a lot of the

people. So thank you for that opportunity because a lot of connections has come from that.

Yes, EGL was such an amazing start to kind of my foot in media. I had no idea what I wanted

to do with it, but I knew that I had something I wanted to say.

And I also wanted to create a community of some women that had things to say. So I'm so happy

here. You were part of it. Yes, yes. I loved that. I love the mission, the platform.

You recently had an event because you have relocated to Atlanta. So let's let's start there.

When did you get to Atlanta? We came to Atlanta in 2020. Like, pandemic hit in March. June, my husband was like, we out. And the crazy thing is I came kicking and screaming. You didn't want to come? I didn't want to come. So New York, were you in New York still? New York to me is like you love it or you hate it.

It's either I don't ever want to go there or I don't ever want to leave. What did you not? I feel, and I'm on the hated side. I feel like it's so hard. It's such a hard life in my opinion. I've never lived there. But when I go, you've never lived there. Y'all got the bodega thing, the walk into the train, the riding of the train.

So that's the riding of the train.

So that's the easy thing for me. I would love to be able to come out my house, walk down a couple feet, and be at the bodega. Girl, it's not a couple feet. I have to get in a car. No, no, for me? Oh, for you. Okay, okay, okay. I walked out my building, probably 15 steps was the supermarket.
