Both baseball and the NBA have had betting issues come up this week.

We've mentioned them briefly.

We've had other things that we need to focus on because it was the league meetings, monumental

change to the kickoff, hip drop tackle, other issues happening, draft less than four weeks away. Now that I've got two hours to fill on my own and oh by

the way programming note Paul Allen, voice of the Vikings will be joining us just

about an hour from now. We'll land the plane, finish the show, talking to Paul about what the Vikings are up to and how

high he thinks they might go in round one of the draft now that they have a couple of first-round

picks this year that they can use as ammunition to move up.

We'll start this conversation though with a question from the mailbag and I appreciate

anyone out there who has mobilized to quickly give us ideas for content today.

RB Ruffinex, how do you think the NFLPA will tackle gambling in the next CBA?

Surely they will try to limit punishments for their players and set guidelines for offenses.

And this is a good place to start because it helps us all get on the same page about the power

the NFL has in this subject area.
