Summary

When you've been married for a long time, it's hard to learn something new about each other. Luckily, our producer, Ann Marie Taepke, joined us this week on the podcast to help. Inspired by our friends, Shawn Johnson and Andrew East (who did this on their podcast recently) we play "How Well Do You Know Your Partner?"

Learn what I have pretend fights about, Penn's worst vacation, and why Penn thinks he married a cat. (I agree, by the way.) Also, do this with your partner by using the questions on our blog post: https://theholdernessfamily.com/how-well-do-you-know-your-partner/ (and you can see the photo of our first date!)

Ask a question or just say hi, by calling 323-364-3929 or emailing us at podcast@theholdernessfamily.com. If you like this podcast please consider leaving us a review!

This is fun. Z's but before we get started, we always have to do the really cringy thing where we tell you about all the things we have. It's not cringy. It's cool stuff that we've made. I know. I mean, not all of it, but I think we're proud of. We are we're proud of all. Including we have a partnership with sell Kirk now. And so we sell pickleball paddles as well. If you go to sell Kirk

.com, you can shop the Holderness collection. And they've been out for about a week now. And I've gotten some really good reviews from people who I play pickleball with. They really enjoy the paddles. They think they're very good. And they think they're very good for the price.

1:39.2

I will say this. Okay. As a pickleballer who only started what a year and a half ago. And we play with we go on vacation, go to the beach. And I was just using just the freebie paddles they had, you know, just at the courts. And this I'm not guys. I'm still very on the beginner side.

And I lose more than I win. But when I switched paddles to sell Kirk paddles to these paddles, I did better. They have like a thing on their website where they show how they their technology, which by the way, I want to make sure it's very clear. We have nothing to do with the technical design of these paddles. If we did, they would melt in the sun in your hand, but they they figured it out and melting paddles.

3:06.8

They did a podcast over the summer that I thought was really fun. They've been married for a while now. And they asked how well do you know your spouse?

3:14.1

Mm hmm. So you guys have done things like this before. However, however, I think that I've come up with some good ones that are going to pull out some new stories, new tidbits for the people here.

3:26.0

And are these the sort of questions that if we put them in the show notes or put them in a blog that accompany the people could ask their partners. Is that the point here? I'm trying to learn. Yes. Okay. Yes. So I'm going to almost be quizzing you both. Okay.
