And I'm Antonia Dodge.

Antonia, I move through the world these days and I sometimes wonder how do people come

up with such oversimplified ways of thinking.

And then I reflect on myself and I see myself doing the same thing.

I see myself in conversations with people, discussions.

I see myself falling back onto old habits, bad ways of thinking sometimes and keep thinking

to myself, there's got to be better ways to communicate to both be understood and to

be persuasive to others.

So I thought today what we could do is have a conversation around some of the conversations

you and I have been having offline around great communication skills and in a world that

seems more divisive, more confusing every day, how can we assume and think about communicating

in a better way, a better fashion so we can know more about each other and connect with

other people around the ideas that we have.

Yeah, bridge some of these terrible misunderstandings and or terrible philosophical differences.

I agree.

And I fear sometimes that I also get caught up in sloppy thinking.

I feel like social media is really similar to how fast food is created in a lab where

they put all of these chemicals on and all of these, you know, like they the flavor is

created in the food with like droppers, right?

Yeah.

And they'll call things like perfumes, you know, like for orange juice, the packet that

...
