author of a book, Understanding Marxism, and I'd like to do a bit of a dive into a professor.

Welcome back, um, help us understand Marxism.

Well, you know, Marxism is, as it has done many times in the past, coming back into

vogue, it's like a hero movement from wide ties to narrow ties for men in their formal outfits.

It has been declared dead in innumerable times, and it has become alive again to everyone's

surprise or chagrin, depending on their point of view.

The book I wrote was for a simple reason.

We've been getting a rising number of emails.

They're now coming in hundreds and sometimes even thousands in the passage of a month or two or

three, and they basically are asking me lots of different questions, which if you boil them down

are, what's this Marxism all about?

And because it's the United States, we have a problem.

For the last 75 years, Marxism has been a kind of taboo, was associated with the Soviet Union.
