Today's 10-minute walk is helping you create a walking habit you will love.

Hi, I'm Dave. Today's walk, at least for me, is happening on the Duke of Gloucester Street.

This is in Colonial Williamsburg. It's the main street that runs from the Capitol building at one end.

I can turn and see that to the College of William and Mary.

And I think it was built the 18th century, the Wren building, which is at the other end of

And if you've never been to Williamsburg, on both sides of the street, are, in some cases, original homes from, or buildings, that is, from the 18th century.

Others are recreations.

And some of these are places that you can walk in and see crafts

people at work like the Silver Smith the blacksmith the milliner some are

shops where you can buy souvenirs and it's fun place to visit have

in Colonial Williamsburg. I'm not here on vacation. This is a side visit doing some traveling,

some work-related travel. And today what I want to talk about are the benefits of walking during travel.

Maybe it is a vacation.

Maybe it's something like what Ava and I do every fall.

We travel down to Florida, the Panhandle, and babysit our grandchildren so that their parents,
