discussion with the journalist Yasha Levine. This is the third and final part of that interview.

In this part, we talk about something that is almost never covered in Western corporate media.

Of course, Western corporate media in the U.S., the corporate media is owned over 90% and is owned by five corporations.

So it's not a coincidence.

We're talking about Silicon Valley and its deep links to the U.S. government.

Yasha Levine has a brilliant book called Surveillance Valley,

looking at the origins of big tech corporations of social media,

of the internet itself, of computer technology in the First Cold War,

and Washington's global war and communism and socialism.

So in this part, we talk about the deep links of the CIA, the NSA, the DIA, the DIA,

the Pentagon's research armed DARPA, two Silicon Valley corporations, and how they have served as an arm of U.S. foreign policy objectives.

And we talk about how, interestingly, in the past few years, with the election of Donald Trump

and the rise of China, how Washington has very quickly shifted from this narrative promoting

so-called Internet freedom to now actively

promoting more and more censorship, more and more political censorship in the name of fighting

foreign so-called disinformation. So this is a really interesting conversation. I learned a lot
