Hey Nick, great to hear from you man.

How's it going?

You know, it's pretty good.

It's been a discombobulating week.

I feel like it's never a great thing when you're

president and his party are at war with the intelligence community and the

justice system but you know just another Thursday.

Well I have an amazing guest this week that actually helps explain all of the stuff

that helps explain the unexplainable.

David K. Johnson came out to inside the hive and he sat and talked to me about his new book.

It's even worse than you think, what the Trump administration is doing to America.

I actually used to work with Johnston in the New York Times.

He was an economics reporter and one of Pulitzer for some tax stories he's done and he's been

writing about Trump for decades and I think he was also the the reporter who had

one year of Trump's tax records if I'm correct right on

Rachel Maddo? Yeah and he well he's also he wrote a book before this book which was a detail of the making of Donald Trump which kind of laid out how he got to where he got to and that came out in 2016 and this is his two years later how we're all

just completely fucked. Sorry to use that language so so so soon into the show but

you know that's pretty much but there was a silver lining
