Today's guests are Evan and Wani.

Wani works full-time as the director of strategic partnerships at

Skechers while Evan spends his days working as a top-producing realtor in L.A., multifamily asset

manager, an owner of a virtual assistant staffing agency. We've got a few things going on there.

They first met in 2019 over their passion for real estate and started their investing journey in five projects

with full or partial ownership with over 120 units. Welcome to the show, guys. How you doing?

Hey, Gino. Good to see you. Thanks. Thanks for having us. So, Wani, I want you to share the story

of how you both met. And it was about real estate, wasn't it? Yes.

We met in 2019 through a mutual friend. This mutual friend was a big real estate investor.

And I remember very distinctly that I wanted to go meet with him to grab coffee to pick his brain

because I wanted to start my real estate journey on my own. My parents, my family are big

real estate investors around the world and so I knew that in order to build wealth that I should

start my journey as well. So I remember distinctly reaching out to him and he said come over to this beach volleyball thing we're doing and then we'll grab coffee after and then we can talk about all things real estate.

And that's where Evan showed up at the beach volleyball game.

And he was a little bit late to the beach volleyball game, but we all went to grab lunch together as a group of friends.

And I remember asking Evan, Evan,

what do you do for work? And he pointed to my friend and said, I want to do what he's doing.

And I said, oh my God, me too. So that's kind of how it started, how we met. And now we're

married and, you know, been together for five years. And we started our multifamily real estate
