A lot of times, not only do we know things about the past because, or we're in a state of knowing about things in the past,

we also project the state of knowing into the future, where it's like, oh, I know I have the right answer.

If they only knew what I knew about someone, so they would all believe me.

And this is a very poisonous thing to happen.

And a lot of times, we actually encourage people because the old leadership model was to do that.

Tom is one of the sharpest minds on the planet today.

Tom is one of the co-founders of Google X.

Google X is that special think tank that Google's founders set up to help Google pioneer all sorts of new technologies.

So Tom was one of the first 10 people at Google X.

He worked on new innovations such as Project Loon, which was Google's project, to give free Wi-Fi access to people all around the world.

He worked on the self-driving car by Google.

And you know one of his most famous things? It was Google Glass.

See several years ago, Larry Page approached Tom Chi and asked Tom to come up with a prototype for Google Glass.

Tom created the first prototype in one day using chopsticks and a bunch of other electronics.

So Tom is famous for being a guy who's so brilliant, you can give him a vision, and he knows how to build prototypes insanely fast.

In short, he is one of the most productive people on the planet today.

When Tom was leading the Google Glass team, he had his team create a new iteration of Google Glass every few hours, every day for around five days straight.
