Hey friend, welcome to today's podcast episode and I want to talk about one of the hardest things in the world that I've ever had to do.

And it was to step on stage and speak to people, a lot of people.

And I was absolutely terrified.

And for years, I ran my business with pretty much

no one knowing who I was. They didn't even know what I looked like.

They didn't know that I was working in yoga pants and a sweatshirt because I did it all from

the blessed privacy of my computer. And the first time I decided to actually take this huge risk and speak at a conference,

I literally was rated the worst speaker at the event.

Yes, the event host was kind enough to tell me.

That was the worst speaker.

I was kind of traumatized.

I'm not going to lie.

Even thinking about it makes me a little sick to my stomach.

But I allowed myself to learn and get better.

And I've been asked to speak on some pretty darn big stages since then, like really big stages,

Dean Graciosi, Russell Brunson type big stages. And yes, I'm still scared and I shake like a leaf up there,

but I can get up there and tell my story so that I can help others live their own amazing stories.

But you want to know something though?

I know I can get better. In fact, I believe all of us get better as we keep sharing our stories, whether it's up on stage or in the About Us section of our websites, which is why I was so excited that the wildly fantastic Colin Boyd is joining me today on the podcast.
