Hi, I'm Angela Kelly Smith, but call me Kelly, please. Something that I'm strangely passionate about is creating systems.

I say strangely because for the longest time, I hated the idea of systems. I was like,

I know what I'm doing. Why do I need some kind of structure or standard operating procedure for my

podcasts? Wow, was I wrong?

That's why I'm thrilled to be talking to you today about why you need to

systematize your podcast and how to do it.

My goal today is to convince you why you need systems for your podcast

and to teach you how to create a standard operating procedure for your podcast.

So what convinced me that I needed systems from my podcasts?

First is from a really practical perspective.

There have been times over the years that I forgot to put the audio player on my episode blog

post on my website.

You'd think I would have learned better after the first or certainly the

second time, but no, I used to hate systems that much. So it was probably after the third time that I

realized I needed a standard operating procedure. I just couldn't keep all the steps in my head

anymore and rely on my memory to get everything done.

Another thing that convinced me to put systems in place was the fact that I was already using a system to shop for groceries. I used to go to the grocery store with no lists at all. That never

works well, as you understand. So then I made a list. That made sure I didn't forget anything,

but I found myself running
