This month at Awesome Marriage, we have been talking about the hard topic of divorce.

Here at Awesome Marriage, we want every marriage to work and be what God wants it to be.

And we believe that God can do that, that God can restore any marriage.

We've seen to happen hundreds and hundreds of time, taking situations that are by far the worst,

and yet restoring them and rebuilding their marriage better than new. But we do recognize that we live in a

broken world, and so divorce does happen. So with this series, we are just trying to provide some

gospel truth to those that find themselves divorce. Specifically today, we're going to be talking

about how to support a friend going through divorce. So just looking at the statistics, looking at the world we live in,

everyone is this friend, right? We all know someone going through a divorce or someone who has been

divorced. So Dr. Kim, how do we respond to a friend who is going through a divorce if we don't agree with a divorce?

I feel like this is the most common thing that we deal with in our churches today when it comes to our divorce friends.

I think we have to love people.

I think that's what Jesus would do to them.

I think it's easy for us to look at someone and be judgmental, but we're not, we've not

walked in their shoes. We didn't live in that house with them. We didn't know all the things

that went on, you know, that may have led to divorce. And I think even just saying judgmental

things, you're not going to say something to them they've not heard before. You're just not.
