January is one of those months where we all like double down on all of our efforts and I know that there have been times

when I'm tracking or working out and just feeling miserable over the whole process.

Like I've kind of lost touch with why I'm doing it and the joy has been sucked out of my life

because all I'm doing is tracking and obsessing and thinking about food.

And so I wanted to share this episode because I know that there are some of you listening

that are like, yeah, girl, preach it. Right. I think oftentimes when we feel like we're carrying

everything and our goals aren't aligned and we

forget why we're doing certain things, everything can feel like a burden.

And when I first recorded this episode with Leah, what really stood out to me was how common

her story is to the stories that I hear many of you chatting about, like chronic under-eating,

over-exercising, fear of carbs, birth control, stress, and then just like a slow unraveling

of hormones, energy, metabolism, and eventually your relationship with food.

And I think a lot of us get there when we enter into our 40s, 50s,

we've had decades of trying to manipulate our body to our goals. And it can be all consuming,
