0:11.9	Several years ago, when we first began the Enjoying the Journey broadcast, we started with my favorite book of the Bible.
0:19.0	I've adopted it really is my life's study on the book of
0:22.3	Philippians. And the theme, of course, of that great book is the joy of the Lord Jesus Christ.
0:28.0	Truly, it is the Bible treaties on what it means to enjoy the journey. Now we're thrilled to share
0:35.5	this anniversary series with you again in the hopes that God will use it in your life to help you learn to enjoy the Lord Jesus Christ at whatever stage you happen to be on on life's journey.

0:58.6	Could I ask you, what made Eden Eden? You know that beautiful garden, that wonderful place that
1:07.0	Adam and Eve got to live? What made Eden Eden? Was it Adam? Was it Eve? Was it the presence of the beautiful trees?
1:14.6	Was it the lush foliage? Was it the animals? No, my friend.
1:18.6	The thing that made Eden Eden was the presence of God.
1:23.6	As a matter of fact, once sin entered in and came between God and man, the garden was
1:30.3	never the same. And may I say to you, the only thing that truly makes life wonderful and worth
1:35.7	living is the presence of God. We've come in our study in Philippians chapter four to this
1:40.9	beautiful section where the apostle Paul said, I've learned in whatsoever
1:45.3	state I am therewith to be content. Now remember, he was in jail when he wrote those words.
1:52.1	And then he wrote these famous words, I can do all things through Christ, which strengthens
1:57.8	me. We're talking about staying happy in Jesus and we've learned in this chapter
2:01.7	to stay happy in Jesus. You've got to stay right with one another. You've got to stay prayerful. You've got to
2:06.3	stay in the word. And now we're discussing this truth that you have to stay content in Christ.
