We also had to engage in a lot of healing to be able to increase our income, which is why I always tell people, I want to teach you how to self-care your weight of financial independence because you could totally use work as a way to dissociate and avoid.

And you can make money that way. You can totally make money that way.

But it eventually catches up to you. And I made that intentional decision that I was going

to self-care my weight of financial independence because I had already knew what it was like

to avoid the discomforts of my life, everything I did not like through work. And it caused me to be

sick. Last time I was on this episode, I had just been on medical leave for nine months from teaching because my autoimmune issues had blown up.

And I was using work as a way to avoid stuff.

And now, three years later, I've been in so much therapy.

And part of the reason that I realized I was having all this inflammation in my body was because I had PTSD.

Your girl was not out here trying to deal with

the PTSD and said she was working and avoiding it as much as you could. I decided this time around

it wasn't going to be that way. I was going to build wealth and I was going to feel all my feelings

and think all the thoughts and I was going to do it poco, poco, And I was going to do it poca,

but I was going to do it in a way that was healing versus numbing.
