Me and Kiyanghi first met through Instagram comments comments because kianghi is one of those people

she leaves the most kind thoughtful comments and i was just always so grateful for her encouraging

words on my post and then i saw that she had a book coming out and I was like I need to check out this book

and it is a beautiful book so encouraging so inspiring and I was like hey let's let's record an

episode let's talk about it so here is my conversation with kiang he Kim, author of See Us Bloom.

And I've already shared a little bit about how we met, how we first met, how I first found your work.

And I just want to know like a little bit about about you,

like as a person and also, you know, as a writer and and just share with everyone a little bit

about who you are and what you do. Thank you so much, Morgan, for having me here today.

First off, what I really want to express and say to everyone is that

you, we never know where our journeys are going to take us because I, my story is not one of

those where I grew up wanting to write.

I wrote throughout my life and I've always wanted to be a writer that was not the case at all.

It's one of those things where writing found me.

So by trade, I've been an elementary educator for 20 years now and got into writing about

five years ago because of deep grief in my life.

And I did not know how to process that grief.
