When the first thing I do with my money is return it to the Lord, the statement I make is that my maker is more important to me than my money.

It is impossible to be unsatisfied with what you have and be completely satisfied in the one who gave it to you. Money doesn't even last a lifetime,

but godliness paired with contentment is a measure of wealth in this life a God will always

be pleased with. The sure fire way to show up for eternity empty-handed is to selfishly hoard everything you have in this life.

Here's the way I would try and summarize this hot one-liner Jesus just drops on us.

I would say it like this.

What's up, everybody?

Welcome to the Leaders Cut, especially those of you for whom this is your

first time to join us i just want you to know as we start off this episode that i know when we

have a conversation about today's topic that honestly some people just stay away they

see the word wealth they see the word money and and they just run from it and i actually understand

why we run from this conversation when we do.

And no one should be surprised if you've been running with TLC for any amount of time, this is going to be a cutty cut episode.

Because money can play such a big role, not just in our lives, but in our heart.

I think one of the reasons why people run from this conversation in the church or among the family of God is because they don't want to be held accountable

to the conversation and what God speaks in the midst of it. And so I celebrate every single one

of you.

Even if it's a third as many as normal, fine by me.

I would rather be Gideon than be Noah watching a bunch of people drown in the rain.
