Hey fam! Thank you for joining us on today’s episode! This topic of resting and allowing time for your body and mind to be refreshed is all too often overlooked in today’s society. With everything being driven by numbers and product output, it is important to remember that there are multiple ways to measure the performance and quality of something. Some of the best seasons of our lives have been the least “exciting,” in that we weren’t trying to grind and hustle so much that we lost the joy our efforts brought us. What does your current season of life look like as far as rest goes? Are you in a good rhythm of rest and labor, or could you (like us) take some steps to balance that better? We hope today’s discussion encourages you and ultimately guides you to find your rest in the Lord Jesus, because he calls us to come to him when we are weary and heavy burdened (Matt. 11:28-30).
