So one of the fun things about creating this book was coming up with a lot of ideas of

how to repurpose a common item that might not normally be thought of as a plant container.

I really like to feature items that were from the kitchen, especially such as the project

that's strawberry cake stand.

In that case, I took the cake pans that you would normally bake a cake in and transform

them into a standing cake stand similar to what you would see at a wedding cake display.

But instead of cake with icing, you have alpine strawberry plants, which in my opinion

is way cooler.
