Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen went to Capitol Hill on Tuesday

to answer lawmakers questions about the company's harmful effects on society.

She testified before a Senate Commerce subcommittee for over three hours.

And some lawmakers now think that with Haugen's testimony and the thousands of documents she leaked,

they might have the catalyst they need to make real change at Facebook.
