And this is week two of our summer money reboot series.

I have been loving y'all's feedback so far.

So many of y'all responded to last week's episode where I first introduced the four financial seasons. This is the first time I've ever done structured episodes like this and it was really inspired by the book that I have been telling y'all about for, I mean, I know it's been years, but don't worry. It's coming. Okay. It's coming. I'm working my hardest.

The book is Brown Ambition, How to Reboot Your Career and Money when Life Throws You Off Track.

And a lot of the book centers on what to do when you have a financial, I was about to say, a not word that my mommy would not approve of.

A financial F up, just something happens in your life. And all of a sudden,

even if you were someone who made the best money decisions, you know, I think about my early

career in my 20s and even early 30s when, you know, I was that girl. I was investing over 15%

of my income with each paycheck, aggressively investing, building wealth, buy my first house,

with 20% down, doing all of the right things, you know, moving up in the world, moving up in

my career, zero debt, 800 plus credit score, you know, I was a little smug about it. And then

what happened is life. Life in so many

ways happened. And it humbled me in huge ways. Humbled me financially, humbled me professionally,

humbled me emotionally, mentally. And I just know that so many of us out there may be going

through a season like that. What can be even more challenging when you do hit a season where, you know,

you're having to reboot or rebuild your finances is especially if you were doing things right

for so long, you start to compare yourself now to the version of you then. Why can't I hack it?
