and it was being held captive by al-Qaeda and ISIS, with nuns being held captive.

However, Hezbollah recaptured it.

And as Leith pointed out, the local population, notably the nuns and the priest, would kiss the

fighter, the Hezbollah fighters, because as you may or may not know,

Hezbollah and Hamas are known for being very protective of other sacred religious sites that are not necessarily Islam,

unlike ISIS and Al Qaeda, which actually destroy them. And as we know, which two are being funded by the US and Israel
