It really does slice to the heart of Midwest America.

Nobody in the Midwest can deny that.

So we need all types.

I used to be very self-conscious of my Southern accent.

And Californians used to make fun of me when I moved here 11 years ago.

And so I had a code switch. I had a code switch out to like a more California vibe.

And but I don't feel true to my roots. So it's a, I'm like, I'm reclaiming myself these days.

Lebanon is also centered in the crosshairs of imperialism despite the ceasefire that was agreed upon back in November.

And if you weren't tracking the situation last year, Israel launched a slaughter on Lebanon with airstrikes on apartment

buildings, emergency rescue facilities, fire departments, schools, and rural housing after Hezbollah

and the Lebanese people in general called for the cease of the genocide against Palestinian kin,

along with Ansarala and Yemen. So in response to Israel's aggression, Hezbollah launched

successful strikes against Israeli military bases and avoided Israeli civilian areas.

An estimated 4,000 Lebanese at the very least have been murdered.
