Check out episode 230 featuring Israel and Sunem Tovar of Dream Teacher Project as we discuss how to to pursue FIRE with your sibling. Listen now!
Israel and Sunem are two first-gen Latine siblings who help teachers and women of color gain financial peace, build wealth, and take more control of their careers and lives.
They've have been featured in Business Insider, Entrepreneur, Edutopia, and Bloomberg News and have worked with organizations such as Yale Education Studies and Gates Millennium Scholars.
This work is very personal to them since Israel was a first-gen, openly queer teacher of color who became debt-free and built a $150,000 net worth on a teacher’s salary. He is also a Yale and Stanford graduate.
Sunem, on the other hand, is also debt-free, has a $200,000 net worth, and has reached Coast FI as a woman of color. She also holds a Master’s in Finance. Follow Israel & Sunem on Instagram, Twitter & Facebook.
