coming up. Not only do you need to make a presentation you need to make a presentation to your boss's boss. Maybe not only do you

need to present to your boss's boss, but also to all her directs at her next staff meeting.

How do you prepare for that? How do you ensure that you don't

walk across any landmines during the presentation? What can you do now to make that

presentation a slam dunk? Well listen up folks and this member's only cast, with obvious links to our

show you how. Here we were going to talk about prewiring meetings, but before we do, maybe

you could explain what prewire means, because I'm always surprised about the number of people who who've

never even heard that term before. Yeah I'm not sure it may very well be that that it's like that somebody actually knows the answer.

There's a rationale for it. I think I think on a previous cast I told the story of foils.

There are people all across the country that don't know that when people used to do before PowerPoint really came along and even after PowerPoint to some degree when people did slides and now really I wouldn't you agree that

people don't even talk about slides more they talk about decks yeah decks right

at least in the technology world it's not even you don't even talk about your

slides you talk about your slides. You talk about

decks, which is nothing more than a stack of slides and the bigger deck the

dumber the idea is surely. But people did not know they wondered why

Transparencies were called foils

because they weren't made out of foile.

Well, of course it's because

transparency in French is spelled I believe it spelled F E U I L L L E S pronounced foils.

And so it wasn't so much aluminum foil as it was the French word for transparency, which was
