I'm your host, Marco Santorelli.

I'm sitting here in a hotel room overlooking

the Atlantic Ocean in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and I'm here

because I'm going on a cruise tomorrow with Robert Kiasaki Peter Schiff, Ken

McElroy, Tom Wheelwright, and a whole slew of well known and successful people

and we're all going to be learning from each other and feeding off each other.

And that has nothing to do with today's episode.

The reason I am recording this from the hotel room

is because I was talking to one of my investment counselors,

Oliver, who I have here with me today,

and we were talking about how some real estate investors have this fear

or reluctance to invest out of state or what some people call long-distance real estate investing.

And the fact is that hundreds, if not thousands of people are investing every week and probably

every day in markets that are not local to

them. They're long-distance real estate investors. So I wanted to talk about

why people do this but more importantly why there's a fear or reluctance and why

that's really crippling you in a way or holding you back from achieving far more

with your investment capital than you could otherwise.
