Even though he's doing a 1031 exchange which is a tax-deferred exchange, this applies

to everybody looking to buy or sell in one particular market and wondering what to do in terms of

entering the same or another market on a buy from the sale of other property where you've got investable capital.

So Randall writes, I own agricultural property that will soon be ready for development

into buildable lots.

My plan is to take the profits from the sale of these lots and purchase

single family homes through a 1031 exchange, which is a tax deferred exchange. It appears that it is currently a good time to sell those lots.
