2019, at the age of 27, I quit my job and retired, and I'm now living off over $15,000 per month

so overcome with self-doubt that I nearly stopped myself from writing my first book and from starting my

business. You see, I started writing

money, honey in 2017. All my family and friends came to me for financial advice, which was great.

That's what I love to help people with. I also began to wonder, well, why aren't they reading

books or learning on their own? And then I had an aha moment. I realized, oh yeah, personal finance is boring. It's dull, it's

intimidating, it's complex. No wonder people don't like to learn about it. So I thought to myself,

well, how can I make this topic sassy and fun and simple? And that's where the idea for my book

Money Honey came from. When I first started writing it, I was extremely excited.

The words poured out of me.

But four months in, I had done a complete mental 180.
