Hey my friends, welcome back to the morning mindset. I want to say a special hello

to those of you who are in Canada listing today. Those who are in Russia, those who are in the Sudan, those who are in

Argentina, those are in Madagascar. We have listeners in all those places because the morning mindset is reaching across the globe.

There are only a few nations on my map where I don't see any downloads for the

morning mindset and so I want to encourage you continue praying for the

efforts that we're making with the morning mindset because the word of God is

going out and it will have its effect. Thank you all of you who pray for me, who pray for us, my wife and I, as we plan and

publish things for the morning mindset, we just love that you are out there, that you're supporting us. Thank you so much.

All right we are back in the book of Romans chapter number 12 verse number 21 and

this is a general principle that I can't imagine being any more specific.

And I know that sounds kind of funny, but it is a pretty broad statement that Paul makes,

but the implications of it go into every single situation I can think of.

Here's what Paul says. He says do not be overcome by evil.

Now if we were to stop right there, that would be the kind of statement where we go,

oh yeah, easy for you to say, you know, because not being overcome by evil doesn't always feel like it's in our control, right?

Sometimes it feels like the evil just overwhelms us, especially in a situation where we are abused

or mistreated and we are truly the helpless one.

There's nothing we can do about it.

Or in a situation where you're living under an impressive government,

or in a situation where there's injustice in the workplace and you're the one

who's receiving the short end of the stick on the deal.

You see, we can feel like a statement like this is just like Polyana kind of buying the sky stuff that we can't really
