For the benefit of those of you who are visiting, we are going through the epistle to the churches

in Galatia prior to the prophecy update, which we do on a weekly basis. So we're going through

chapter by chapter, verse by verse, and today our text will be in chapter 5 and verses 13 through 18. So what I'll have you do is once you turn there,

if you're able, if not that's alright, but please stand. You can follow along as I read.

Again, beginning in verse 13, where the Apostle Paul by the Holy Spirit is writing and he says,

You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free,

but do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh,

rather serve one another humbly in love.

For verse 14, the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command love your neighbor as yourself

if you bite and devour each other watch, or you will be destroyed by each other. So I say,

walk by the spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires

what is contrary to the spirit and the spirit what is contrary to the

flesh. They are in conflict with each other so that you are not to do whatever you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Let's pray and

we'll ask God's blessing on our understanding if you would join with me.

Loving Heavenly Father, we're so thankful to you for your word.

Lord, we're so thankful to you for your Holy Spirit.

Lord, you know every need of every heart, of everyone that is in this church this morning. And so Lord, would you

minister to us in and through your word we pray in Jesus' name. Amen. You can be seated. Thank you.
