Welcome back to the podcast, everyone. I am excited for today's guest. Her name is Erica. She had previously

been in a 27-year marriage, where she was not only an amazing mother, had multiple kids, was the sole

financial provider in the relationship as well, and pretty much the rock that held everything

together in this family and in this relationship.

And like so many of you, she had to deal with narcissistic behavior, cheating, affairs,

gaslighting, manipulation. What makes her story so powerful and so incredible that I want all of

you to hear, not only having the strength to actually leave that type of

relationship, it's really how she's handled herself after, the aftermath of going through

all of that and how she has handled it, how she has healed, rebuilding herself, the things

she's still working on today, her story is one of such hope, faith, confidence,

self-love, and strength. Today she is sharing her amazing story of how she went from feeling like

the crazy one in the relationship to finally feeling complete clarity and understanding of why

she had to go through that, forgiving her ex-husband and moving on with her life so she can finally feel the freedom

that she feels now.

Let me just say, when I read about your story, first off, there's like a lot of things that

intrigued me because I've talked to so many people over the years.

And like the stories are all the same. They really are. It's like it's sad to say. It's actually really sad to say that. But all the stories are pretty much the same. It's just, you know, the insides of the story are a little bit different. There were a lot of aspects of your story that I related to. Like I definitely felt your strength, which I felt that within myself. I was like,

look at me go. Like, I'm fucking handling this and I can do this. But then, you know, what I really

loved about your story and what I honestly don't hear often is the financial piece because you

were the breadwinner in that relationship. And you just don't see that.

I mean, you see it. It's out there. Don't get me wrong. But you don't still. Right. So a lot of women

will stay because of the financial piece or because of kids. So the fact that that wasn't a thing for you,
