Summary

If we have ever been hurt in a relationship, or are hurting now, we must learn how to deal with it so that we can recover and move on. We live in an angry world; much of that anger stems from the emotional pain of being hurt. Trying to go on with our lives with unresolved hurt as our foundation gives us a warped, twisted view of life and makes us bitter. We have an enemy who works through others to hurt us and paralyze us in our past. However, believers have been given authority and power over the enemy; this includes over his ability to hurt us. We walk in freedom from hurt by dealing with it God’s way, not the world’s way. We win by shifting our focus from our past and what the devil says about us to our future and what God says about us.

0:29.2	I was praying earlier this week about, all right, what do we do next in this series
0:36.0	that we've been talking about, grace-based relationships? Today may be one of the most
0:44.2	important teachings that I've done in this series. It's a subject that's not far into your ears.
0:50.3	I've taught on it before, but in light of the revelation that's flown through this series,
0:56.0	God told me to begin to teach today on overcoming this area of hurt and how to never be hurt again.
1:07.4	I didn't know how detrimental to a Christian life that hurt can be, and yet in relationships,
1:16.9	you're bound to experience some kind of hurt, even when you deal with grace-based relationships.
1:22.6	I never knew it was so dangerous. I never knew that the end result of hurt was to try to kill you
1:32.5	and put you in the grave as soon as possible. If you have been hurt by relationships or you're
1:40.9	presently hurting from relationships, then you're in the right place today. I pray, and I've already
1:48.1	prayed that your ears will be anointed to hear. That means you're not just going to hear what I'm saying,
1:53.8	but I believe that the Holy Spirit is going to speak to you as I preach. There's going to be some
1:58.9	things. He's going to say to you that didn't necessarily come out of my mouth. So you're anointed
2:04.0	today to hear this message, and those of you who are streaming in, you are anointed to hear
2:09.2	this message as well. In fact, those of you who are streaming in, hit that share button
