0:00.0	Hey everybody. Thanks so much for tuning into my podcast today. We're going to be talking about how to meet more guys. And I have a couple of ideas for you. And this is for you if you feel like you're just kind of in the same circle of friends all the time
0:24.9	and you're having a hard time with like knowing where to go to meet people.
0:30.8	And specifically like guys who you're actually interested in and you have something in common with.
0:36.8	So the first tip I have for you is to go
0:40.4	on meetup.com. And I know you may be saying like, oh, I've already been on there or I've already
0:46.6	tried it because a lot of people say that to me. But definitely take another look because there's
0:51.4	always new groups and new meetups going on. And actually, what I
0:56.8	really wanted to encourage you to do this time is to create your own meetup. So I just did this last
1:02.9	week and within less than a week, I threw together a workshop and seven people found me through meetup, uh, meetup and through Facebook and they
1:14.4	attended my workshop. And it was so cool to just meet a bunch of people from all over town
1:20.1	that I had never met before. And now it's been like a week and I already have like 37 members
1:27.0	in my meetup group, which is called
1:29.7	Conversation Masters and it's here in Santa Barbara. I tried to do one once for dating, but meetup.com
1:37.7	was like, that's against our guidelines. So anyways, I created Conversation Masters and I organized other meetups for the future as well,
1:46.7	like one called Walk and Talk, which is just going to be a bunch of us meeting at the beach
1:52.7	and going for a walk and meeting new people and talking. And so it's really easy to throw some
1:58.8	of those things together. And that can be a great way for you to
2:03.5	create the kinds of events that you wish were happening in your town. If you feel like it's
2:09.4	boring in your town or not much is going on or nothing that you're interested in, you can be a
2:15.2	leader and actually create that for yourself.
2:22.1	The second way that you can meet more guys is to take some dance classes.
2:26.3	I personally do salsa and bachata and swing.
