1:03.6	Thank you. Rand is good to have you. We're excited for this one. So how would you get it started by
1:08.4	telling us a little bit about yourself and what you do?
1:16.0	Yeah, so I'm, I'm Randy Ford. I call myself a freelance writer, but also a storytelling strategist. I'm based in Chicago. My background is I was a reporter covering politics in Tennessee
1:22.5	where I'm originally from and then fell backwards into working in politics and did that and ended up working for a
1:30.7	member of Congress for for 10 years and then did some public affairs work still in D.C. I came to
1:36.2	Chicago and decided I wanted to start my own thing and I wanted it to be focused around the
1:41.4	storytelling skills that I had learned working in news, working in politics,
1:45.0	working as a communication strategist. And so that's what I do now. I work with nonprofits and
1:49.9	trade associations, small businesses, and even individuals who want to get their family and
1:55.4	personal stories out on video or in print. That is fantastic. An impressive career.
