How are you doing, man? I'm good. I'm good. I'm excited. You know, I've been looking forward to this for a long time. |
0:18.0 | I just got to start by just thanking you, honestly, for everything you're putting out there. Like I found you in 2019, I think, and been following ever since I follow, you know, |
0:31.0 | you know, followed your, you know, calorie calculator, all that stuff. When, and whenever, like, my friends asked for stuff for a season, but he posted on Reddit, like, on dad forms, like, hey, I'm looking to, like, get into work out. I'm like, here's what you do. And I give, like, the basic things. I'm like, but go follow Jordan. Look, I, like, link your videos and stuff. So I'm like, yeah, I'm always putting your stuff out there, because it's been huge. It's been huge for me, man. It means the world to me. You are always so kind and so supportive. And I love what I see. You're, you're |
1:01.0 | profile picture come out from my DMs, like whenever I get a chance, like, it means a lot, man. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. It means the world to me. And like, again, I'm, I'm very excited to have the opportunity to finally chat. I feel I feel like this is one of those instances, which I feel like we're already friends before we even actually like spoken like this. So, so thank you for all your support. And I'm just excited to link up. |
1:23.5 | Yeah, absolutely. Me too. Awesome. So this is your time. 100% anything you want to chat about anything you want to discuss, like 100% whatever you want to chat about. There's no holds barbed. Whatever you want to discuss. |
1:36.6 | Yeah. All right. Well, legally enough to this. I had a few thoughts of like what I want to talk about, because I'm 37. I'm going to be so like my goal is I wanted to kind of get. I want to like be in the best shape. I've ever been in. |
1:52.2 | By the time I'm 40, right? And so like leading up to this call is like, okay, cool. Maybe I can like try to dial them a consistency and then like kind of get that dial in and then chat with Jordan about that and see what that looks like. |
2:03.6 | And then my appendix burst. |
2:07.0 | So, so that happened when you had all those plans right in the face. That was about a month ago. |
2:14.8 | Maybe yeah, three weeks a month ago, something like that. Yeah. Did what happened? Like, where were you? |
2:19.7 | So I was, I was at, I worked from home. My wife and I run our own business and get more than that later. But, um, so yeah, I was just working in the afternoon. |
2:28.1 | And then I just felt like this weird, huge stomach pain. It was like, I, I didn't know if it was like gasp pain or something weird. And I'm like, okay, something's wrong. Something's up. |
2:36.9 | And I like, I'm kind of notorious for stomach issues over the years. Like nothing serious. Just like here and there. But I'm like, all right, I took some alkozel sir. I'm like, all right, I'll just push through. We'll be all right. And my wife gets home. |
2:48.2 | And she takes one look at me. She's like, what's wrong? I'm like, uh, yeah. So my stomach feels a little weird. She's like, do you need me to go get the girls? |
2:55.9 | Because I, you know, we have two daughters, eight and four. And they're with the grandparents and stuff. I'm like, now I'm gonna pick them up. Don't worry about it. And so I |
3:03.4 | I'm dry on around. I'm picking them up. I get home. I'm like, yeah, I'm gonna, I'm gonna go to bed for a little bit. I'm just gonna kind of rest up. |
3:10.7 | And about two hours later, just pain, nausea, vomiting. I'm like, holding my phone with a shaking hand, looking up, Googling appendicitis. I'm like, I have every symptom. Okay, cool. We're gonna go to the ER. |
3:23.4 | So that happened. And I had, so that was like seven o'clock and I'd go to the ER and get transferred to another hospital about midnight. |
3:32.3 | And at four a.m. the next morning, get woken up. They're like, yeah, they took another look at CT scan, looks like your appendix did rupture. |
3:38.6 | So they're gonna be in at about an hour to get you into emergency surgery. So cut to, yeah, 615 a.m. I'm, I'm getting wheeled in the surgery and that's that. Now, where the good thing is |
3:49.6 | everything went fine. Okay. Good. Um, you know, like I said, a few weeks out of recovery. Um, that all went exactly how needed to. I was only in the hospital for like two extra days. |
3:58.8 | Um, I'm feeling good, feeling strong. So I, I wanted to get all that out there because my original thing was going to be like, you know, I was going to start trying to try to get back into working out and then talk to you about a couple of things. And now I just kind of want to have the discussion of like starting from base. Like I am about as baseline level zero as you can get. |
