My beloved brothers and sisters, we must always commence by praising Allah. The maker, the one who made us, the creator, who created us, the nourisher, the cherisher, the sustainer, the provider, the protector, the cure.

The one in whose hands lies every aspect of existence and its control. Subhanallah.

We also send blessings and salutations upon the messengers who were sent to us to remove us from darkness and bring us to the light to show us the straight path of worshiping our maker alone, and to show us the path of purity, goodness, high levels of morals and values.

We send blessings and salutations upon Muhammad Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam, his household, his companions, all those who followed everyone of us, our offspring, may Allah bless us all and grant us good guidance.

My brothers and sisters, many of you may be in a lockdown. I know there are countries wherein the lockdown has become harder and prolonged.

So Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and our relationship with Him should never be negatively affected.

Yes, people may find it difficult to work, people may find it difficult in some countries to go to school, although in other countries they have a few restrictions lifted for some reasons, people may find it difficult to do anything. Subhanallah, it's not normal.

But unfortunately we will have to go through this again and maybe again, only Allah knows. Brothers and sisters, the first thing we need to do, thank Allah that you are okay.

Thank Allah that you are surviving. Thank Allah that you are breathing. Thank Allah that you have.

Mashallah, you have a place where you are staying and thank Allah that you can watch this particular video. Subhanallah, if you are watching this Iehutba, then you are privileged.

If you are listening to these words, you are extremely privileged. Allah has given you more than a lot of others who wouldn't be able to afford to watch or to listen to this type of Iehutba.

My brothers and sisters, so therefore don't forget to thank Allah. When you thank Allah, He grants you alleviation of suffering.

When you thank Allah, He grants you increase in goodness. That is the recompense of the gratitude that you show towards Allah.

But showing gratitude is not only by tongue and by mouth. Showing gratitude is also, or mainly primarily, by obeying the instructions of Allah and abstaining from prohibitions.

And by developing a beautiful relationship with Allah and by helping those whom Allah has created.

So if I am struggling and in the process I help others who are struggling with similar struggles, then Allah will bless me in a way that my struggles become less and perhaps other doors will open where I am blessed in unique ways. That's Allah.

So my brothers and sisters, while we thank Allah, we must also develop a beautiful relationship with Allah and we must help other human beings.

And other creatures that the same creator who created us created, MashaAllah, my brothers and sisters.

During this lockdown, remember never to miss a prayer and pray enthusiastically. Sometimes people might be busy watching a movie, they might be busy online, they might be busy chatting with someone, you might be busy at home playing a game or whatever else it may be, you might be in the middle of something to be able to pause for the sake of Allah.

Because He has asked you to pray five times a day and to wash yourself and then to stand in front of Allah facing the kibla and to declare the greatness of Allah in prayer is amazing.

With this virus spreading the way it is, we praying and we are hoping that Allah Almighty will grant us cure and protection and at least we ask Allah that He will grant us a healthy life and He will save us so that we don't have to die.
