podcast. Today we're talking about how to make seed bombs. Yes, seed

bombs. So if you are someone who walks around in your urban environment like me and

sees a bunch of wasted space, a bunch of empty lots that just aren't being built on, nothing's happening there, they're just sort of being completely wasted.

Well, then you might be a guerrilla gardener at heart, and I don't mean guerrilla, the animal. I mean gorilla like guerrilla warfare.

So seed bombs. What are they? Why do we care about them? How do we make them? What's the point?

Well, seed bombs will help you do a few things. They will help

you garden in hard to reach areas. They will help you beautify a barren lot with a floral

explosion. They will help you garden in an area that's otherwise

restricted. They will help you start seeds in a creative and organized way in your own

garden if you want to. So there are a lot of different ways to make your own

seed bombs. I'm going to go over one of the simplest and easiest methods.

This is the classic clay seed bomb. Very easy to make in bulk and you can get it done with only four ingredients.

So the first thing you're going to need to do is gather your materials.

Very simple. What do we need? We need clay. I like to use Crayola air dry clay. You need water, just tap water is fine. You need some kind of seeds. Make

sure that you use seeds that are native to your area. The very last thing you're going to want to do is bomb your

native area with seeds that would end up being invasive. That would be a disaster.
