In order to do a few things really excellent, you got to say no to a lot of things.

And it's easier to make one hard no that then makes it easy to make all the rest of the

nose easy, right?

So if I don't do any podcast interviews, then all the other nose are easy.

If I don't write any forwards to anybody's book, then all the requests that come in are

easy to say no to.

So what I look for is how can I make one decision that then makes a thousand decisions behind

it?

Did you figure that out or did someone else have that boundary, if you will, that you're

like, okay, that's smart.

They don't do forwards, so that's brilliant.

I'm sure everything I know that I learned from somebody else.

I don't think I have had an original thought in my life.

So I'm sure that somewhere, somehow I heard or observed or put two and two together

and I'm sure I learned it from somewhere.

But I don't think that many have that many hard notes.

I think a lot of them, again, they make it very hard to get to them, but they still

leave that ounce of decision, right?

So you just draw in that line.
