Well, hello there. My name is Morgan Harper-Nichols. I'm an artist and a writer, and this is a space where I share words that I hope can make a little room for you to slow down and take a few deep breaths as you prepare for whatever lies ahead. Thanks for being here today. And now on to today's episode.

On February 14th, 2020, I experienced something that I never thought I would ever experience.

It was 10 days after my 30th birthday, where I got to stand in front of a store display at the store anthropology and look in the window and see words that I had written on a shirt. Those words

were, this is the season, she will make beautiful things, not perfect things, but honest things, that speak to who she is

and who she was called to be. And I stood there on Valentine's Day, looking at the store

display in total disbelief. It was such a full circle moment as I thought about my very first job in the mall,

working in a store that sold t-shirts and looking at the designs and reading the quotes on the

shirts. And here I was seeing my words on a shirt in a window for someone else to experience an encounter. It was a real big moment for me,

to say the least. And it's something that I think about often and not because I necessarily want to

just focus only on like the highlights or the accomplishments. But I think it's fascinating

when you wake up and you

experience moments in your life that you weren't even planning for, but then you get there and

you arrive and you're like, wow, this is something that maybe I did desire or maybe I do have

a lot of joy and gratitude for this. And since that moment, I've just become very curious about what it could look like in my life

to not become so focused on particular planned out detailed dreams,

but instead to focus on whatever it was that led me to a moment like what I experienced

in that store display. Because in order for that moment to come to life, there were a few things

that had to happen for it to be. And it wasn't just me sitting around thinking about my thoughts and ideas as to what my dreams were.

So this episode is for the person who maybe you feel a pulse of something happening in your life.

You're feeling that desire, that push to maybe try something new, but you don't quite have the dream or the goal

mapped out yet. There are some people who are really good at setting those strategic goals,

and I think there's a time and place for that. But today I want to talk about creating something,
