Have you ever wondered how to make a really good entrance?

Oh, I love an entrance.

I love, love an entrance because it's so easy to screw it up or try and hide or to make your

entrance as invisible as possible especially if we're not feeling confident.

I've trained myself, even in like swanky settings or if I'm entering a group of people who I find really impressive, I've trained myself how to enter a room.

And look, I have a background where, look, I was very poor.

I always thought really ashamed.

Like my family were a weird family.

We weren't the cool popular, you know,

everything's going well in this family community like that wasn't who we were.

And so a lot of those feelings of inadequacy that are just part of my subconscious until I'm conscious can linger.

And if I'm entering a room that can feel intimidating, maybe it's an event or a party or a conference, like whatever it may be,

I am very very conscious about the entrance that I make, especially when it feels uncomfortable.

Often you'll see someone walk into a room

and they're like kind of looking down, you know, quiet,

you know, head straight to a corner or head straight to the first person that they recognize,

maybe go straight to the bar, for example.

And you can just tell that they're trying to physically make their bodies smaller.

We do this and we don't feel confident, right?
