Ivan grew up with a single mother and had seen poverty in the Dominican Republic and Miami. He carried a chip on his should for a long time, but his mindset shifted when he decided that he wanted to accomplish big things in life to make his name mean something.

Ivan was entrepreneurial since he was young selling commission-based products. He sold insurance for some time before fully transitioning to his and his wife's Airbnb business. Ivan and his wife did everything in the business themselves, the cleaning, managing, and scouting new properties. They got 12 Airbnbs in 12 months! Unlike most Airbnb investors, Ivan and his wife don't own the Airbnb properties, they use a strategy called Airbnb Arbitrage. This strategy is where an individual can list a property on Airbnb with the permission of the landlord.

Since Ivan and his wife began Airbnb, they now have 17 listings with a gross revenue of $600,000! Ivan is now in a place where he's saving up money and getting into multi-family investing where they can turn those properties into Airbnbs.
